The Inner Earth

On Earth the center as always been very soft meanwhile the crust was getting harder and harder. Inside Earth different types of layer began to form, dense molten iron is now the core. Lighter liquid rosed and cooled down becoming a bit harder, this is the mantle. The mantle produced the crust - hard and cool-.

These info are from the Smithsonian Website - Plate Tectonics - The Inner Earth
  • CRUST
    • Earth's skin is called crust
    • Basalt is the oceanic crust (crust over oceans and seas)
    • Granite is the continental crust
  • MANTLE
    • 84% of Earth's volume is mantle rock
    • Deep+ dense
    • Upper mantle is rigid
    • Upper part of lower mantle is solid, hot and soft
    • Lower part of lower mantle is very dense
  • CORE
    • Size of Mars
    • Iron Meteorite
    • Outer core is molten
    • Outer core creates the magnetic field
    • Inner core is very solid liquid metal
