KWL on Living thing and their environments

There are very few and basic things I know about living things and their environments.
KNOW:

1. They all need water to survive
2. They all react to their sorroundings
3. All of them reproduce 

WANT TO KNOW:

1. Is there an animal or plant which can survive a lot of time without water?
2. Does a plant 'breathe'?
3. The different body structures for the different surroundings.

These are the main things I knnow and I want to know.
