Plants or ‘Lungs of the Planet’ are known that absorb carbon dioxide and that emit oxygen; we all know that plants are vital to us but we still treat them as they’re nothing. A geologist Iaian Stewart is now conducting an experiment: spending 48 hours (2 days) in a sealed box with different species of plants. The plants are chosen because those are the ones which produce a lot of oxygen. During the 16th and 17th of September Iaian will be staying inside the transparent sealed box. Though experts will be monitoring all the time, after the experiment the researchers will hope to test some tests on him to explore the effects on humans.
One question which came up as soon as I started reading is why are they doing this type of experiment? Are they doing it to see some effects on humans after spending 2 days in a 'forest/jungle'? Are those people doing it because they are thinking that one day the whole world will be covered with green? Or ... what?
I actually agree on doing this expirement, you never know, in a future time people will need these records.

I have heard of this before! They are doing multiple experiments with plants and how humans could survive in a closed system with plants. If humans give out C02 and plants need CO2 to give off O2 which humans need...it seems like it is a perfect cycle. That's pretty much what they are trying to figure out.
