The Long- Distance Voyage of Plastic
Imagine being on a trip from Bermuda to the Atlantic Ocean, well this is what plastic did. Scientists are worried about that; they are wondering the effects of this bunch of plastic in water.
1)Will marine life eat these pieces of plastic?
2)Will this lead to a new ecosystem?
3)Will some fish/marine life be choked by big plastic pieces?
In the last 22 years search ships have found some rubble in the Atlantic Ocean. Kara Lavender Law of the Sea Education Association have analyzed that in 22 years the amount of plastic is still the same. And this is weird because by time people were throwing more stuff. And Dr. Law has an idea because of that: fish might be eating this or maybe ot might be sinking in and beneath the surface. But still the Sea Education Assosiation will need more information about this problem.
