Get Ready to Freeze at Japan’s Ice Aquarium
If you are trying to escape the hot climate in Kesennuma, Japan; there is a wonderful and place to visit, you do might find it strange because is in a seafood market but it showing to you an Ice Aquarium!! Where the temperature is - 20ᵒ Celsius. The aquarium shows more than 450 species of marine life like: crabs, all kinds of fish and mini octopuses. Fish are exposed in large columns where they are ‘looking at you’. While the frozen fish seem to be swimming, they are all flash frozen, and this allows visitors to stare at them as much as they want. While for usual aquariums fish might be scared of you so they go away. For making this place look-like being underwater the light are blue. To still have the same ice theme with the aquarium they are selling ‘ice arts’ which are ice cubes within actions figures or maybe some bouquet flowers.

Wow.I didn't understand something, is this awesome aquarium in shop or what? Otherwise, this was really interesting.

ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure I understand. I'll have to check out the article. Is this in a market place where people buy the fish to eat and are the fish flash frozen dead or alive?
